F&B@Sea 2025 Makes Record-Breaking Waves

(Press Release) Miami, FL – 16 April 2025– F&B@Sea, the premier food and beverage trade show for the cruise industry, has successfully concluded its second year at Mana Wynwood Convention Center in Miami. The event, held from 09–10 April 2025, was double the size of 2024 and welcomed 1,500+ attendees from 37 countries, including 20 Cruise Lines and 161 Vendors. Across the two days, it showcased a range of exciting activations, influential awards, and innovative vendors specifically tailored to the cruise food and beverage industry.

This year was a resounding success, bigger and better not only in size and numbers, but in the advanced delivery of this growing industry. A huge thank you to all our visitors, exhibitors, vendors and speakers - this year's event has truly set a new standard for excellence and helped shape the industry’s future."

Event Highlights from 2025:
  • Expanded Show Floor: With double the exhibition space, visitors were able to explore a wider range of vendors, interactive activations, and the latest innovations set to shape the dining and hospitality industry over the coming year. Attendees sipped, savoured and sampled from the likes of 161 brands, leading the way in Cruise F&B.
  • The Bistro – Enhanced Experience: a culinary delight in which The Bistro invited Cruise Line representatives, Speakers, Media, and Expo Plus ticket holders to savour innovative dishes and perfectly paired beverages, showcasing products from the vendors on the show floor.
  • The Big Splash - an F&B@Sea Bash, sponsored by Heineken for the third year running: The first day of the show ended with an exclusive welcome party at Mana Wynwood 320. The chic private venue provided an exciting backdrop to a monumental first day for the F&B@Sea community.
  • The Demo Den: Making its debut for 2025, this exciting new feature presented live culinary and beverage demonstrations, offering attendees an exciting, interactive experience with live tastings. In collaboration with industry experts; The Demo Den presented highly sought-after products and innovative techniques. These insights were brought to life through dynamic demonstrations from:
    • Unicorn Distillery – Colour-Changing Cocktails: Fun Drinks That Amaze, Delight and Keep Your Guests Talking
    • Josh Cellars – Wine Isn’t Dying, It Just Needs to Evolve… It’s the Summer of Spritz
    • Jelo Foods – Sun, Sea & Spice: A taste of Mexico’s Yucatán
    • French Bloom – Flexi-Drinking & Fine Dining: The Art of Premium Alcohol-Free Culinary Pairings

Curated Content Sessions: The carefully curated two-day conference programme sponsored by Café Azul provided the ultimate platform to hear from some of the industry’s leading experts in cruise F&B. Attendees were inspired and empowered during a host of insightful sessions, keynote presentations, and engaging panel discussions. 

The content sessions delved into a wide range of topics including the future of supply and procurement, the unique landscape of luxury and expedition cruise F&B, and the growing demand for sustainable and health-conscious offerings. The content programme offered an engaging platform to explore the latest trends and challenges, as well as key strategies shaping the future of food and beverage at sea. Highlights include:
  • Opening Keynote: F&B Trends Report 2025 with Holly Payne, Deputy Editor, Seatrade Cruise News & Seatrade Cruise Review, Seatrade Cruise and the closing Keynote by Michiel Bakker, President, Culinary Institute of America. 
  • State of the Cruise F&B Industry: The Future of Supply & Procurement, sponsored by Botrista. This engaging session offered insights into how cruise lines are navigating the complexities of evolving supply chain dynamics and unique considerations for cruises and what they seek in trusted partners.
  • Sustainable F&B at Sea, sponsored by Halfday Draft Cocktails. This session explored eco-friendly practices in F&B operations onboard, from effective waste management to sustainable sourcing. The panel also discussed how cruise lines are addressing environmental challenges, meeting evolving passenger expectations for sustainability, and balancing these initiatives with operational efficiency & profitability.

F&B@Sea Awards: Sponsored by Campari Group, the prestigious awards took place at the end of the show on Thursday, 10 April, celebrating excellence and innovation in cruise F&B. Recognising the industry's top talents, trends, supplier innovations, and breakthroughs, the prestigious awards were a highlight of F&B@Sea and honoured the visionaries driving the industry forward.

  • Most Sustainable F&B Programme – Hurtigruten Norway
  • Best Beverage Programme – Holland America Line
  • F&B Maverick – Sami Kohen – VP of Food & Beverage, Princess Cruises 
  • Wellness Pioneer – Purely Elizabeth (Granola) 
  • Most Sustainable Product – Café Azul (Sustainable sourced products) 
  • Trailblazing Product – Babylon Micro-Farms (Hydroponic micro-farms) 
  • F&B Innovation – Aquafab (Vegan egg white alternative)

F&B@Sea will return in 2026 at Mana Wynwood Convention Center from 15-16 April 2026, continuing its mission to connect, inspire and celebrate the global cruise culinary community.
