The renowned Greg Mortimer (OAM) will be Expedition Leader of a life-enriching Across the Arctic Circle voyage aboard the Greg Mortimer, a 15-day adventure of a lifetime sailing from Scotland to Norway.

Departing Aberdeen, Scotland on May 16, 2023, this special Founder’s expedition will visit the remote Orkney and Shetland Islands, sail along the magnificent Norwegian coast, and explore the frozen wildernesses of Bear Island and Svalbard, before arriving in Longyearbyen on May 30.

Expeditioners will be immersed in heritage from the Stone Age to the Iron Age, from the Scots to the Vikings. Aboard, they’ll explore fjords, fishing villages and myriad islands. In addition, they’ll be mesmerized by the birdlife, glistening glaciers and towering cliffs while spotting whales, walrus and the elusive polar bear. All of this is brought to life through Mortimer’s passion and enthusiasm.

The Founder’s voyage, Across the Arctic Circle expedition begins at $11,516 per person for an Aurora Stateroom Twin Share, saving 20% when booked and deposited before Dec. 31, 2022. 

Expedition price includes overnight accommodation with ensuite and breakfast prior to expeditions; all meals, snacks tea and coffee during voyage; beer, wine and soft drink with dinner; all shore excursions and Zodiac cruises; all lectures; transfers; three-in-one waterproof polar expedition jacket; port charges, fees, gratuities and Wi-Fi. Optional activities available for this voyage are sea kayaking and scuba diving.
