Pearl Seas Cruises Opens 2026 Cruise Season

(Press Release) GUILFORD, CT – May 5, 2026 – Pearl Seas Cruises is pleased to announce the opening of the 2026 cruise season this week. The first departure is May 7th along Pearl’s 15-Night Canadian Maritimes & St. Lawrence Seaway cruise from Portland, Maine to Toronto, Ontario. The 2nd cruise, on May 22nd, follows Pearl’s 11-Night Great Lakes & Georgian Bay itinerary from Toronto, ON to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and marks the beginning of the company’s Great Lakes season.

Pearl Seas Cruises has been exploring the Great Lakes and surrounding U.S. and Canadian coastal regions 
since 2014 with small ship, Pearl Mist. The Pearl Mist is the only 100% private balcony, fully stabilized 
small ship in the region and was completely renovated in 2022.

2028. This year, the company is featuring four different itineraries on the Great Lakes, including an 
exceptional 14-Night Great Lakes Explorer itinerary that sails all five Lakes in a single journey, operating 
between Toronto, ON and Duluth, Minnesota. Pearl Seas has also just introduced a brand-new 8-Night 
Prince Edward Island & Maine Coast cruise sailing between Charlottetown, PEI and Portland, ME, 
which begins operating in 2028.   

Pearl’s itineraries throughout the region highlight bucket-list destinations from Mackinac Island and 
Niagara Falls to Prince Edward Island and Montreal. Each day, guests enjoy shoreside excursions from 
exhilarating sea plane rides and kayaking to museum visits and quaint tours in horse-drawn carriages.
