Located between Ft. Lauderdale and Miami, east of I-95 and one mile from the Atlantic Ocean, is the community of Aventura, known as the home of Aventura Mall, the largest mall in Florida and fifth largest in the country.  It also hosts the Serena Hotel, a 10-story, 100-room boutique hotel that's part of Hilton's Tapestry Collection.

Opened in 2021, and taking its name from the Latin word for serenity --“serēnus” – it envelops guests in a world of style and color, a mix of contemporary, art deco and Mid-Century modern. Our suite, one of 30 the hotel offers, featured a separate living area, kitchenette, dining tables and modern bath.

The Cielo Bistro and Bar features a daily happy hour amd great views from the adjacent pool area. But for a really expansive view, head up to the Skye Rooftop bar on the 11th floor, where, as their sign says, "Life Is Good."
