Some of the newest ships in their fleet, they boast a sleek catamaran bow with a shallow draft that allows them more freedom to navigate and explore inland rivers or coastal regions than larger vessels. The first two -- American Eagle and American Glory -- were launched in 2023, followed by American Liberty and American Legend in 2024. Each accommodates 100 guests on four decks, and while smaller in size, they are big on features for guests who want to experience everything cruising in America has to offer. We had the opportunity to take their 8-day, 7-nights "Florida Gulf Coast and Keys" cruise on American Legend, which started with a pre-cruise stay at Tampa's JW Marriott hotel. A pre-cruise stay is a great option, especially for those guests who might have had a long travel day. The cruise goes from St. Petersburg to Key West in the Florida Keys, with stops inbetween at Punta Gorda and Marco Island, along Florida's west coast. READ MORE.
