Credit: George Lozada (Press Release) MIAMI, FL – June 1, 2026 – Valiant Lady is back — and this time, she returns with even more glam, more vibes and a glow up that has made her ready for a Euro summer. Fresh from dry dock, Virgin Voyages’ second Lady Ship is renewed, reimagined and more magnetic than ever, with new dining, redesigned spaces and a wave of 20+ new Happenings that bring fresh energy to every deck, every venue and every kind of Sailor. All 1300+ Crew completed a “Virgin Way” culture booster, resulting in a Lady Ship that is even more convivial and connected to the ocean. It feels incredibly Virgin from the moment Sailors step onboard and generate waves of joy. From the Mediterranean this summer to San Juan this fall, Valiant Lady returns with fresh ways to eat, drink, gather, move and stay out later than ever before. The result is a ship that feels more connected, social and alive — one where returning Sailors will notice the difference right away, and first-timers will understand immediately what makes Virgin Voyages feel so different once they’re onboard.
"Valiant Lady was already one of the most compelling ships at sea, but we kept asking ourselves how to make her even more worth coming back for," said Nirmal Saverimuttu, CEO of Virgin Voyages. "The best transformations don't come from smooth sailing but from listening, pushing further and creating something truly special. From Ariya to The Manor to a completely reimagined lineup of Happenings, Valiant Lady returns with a new energy our Sailors will feel immediately. Every one of our 1,300+ Crew has been through The Virgin Way, and that reignited culture is the linchpin to the service Sailors keep coming back for." What’s New Aboard Valiant Lady
What’s Playing: More Than 20 New Ways to Feel the Voyage Valiant Lady’s refreshed entertainment lineup is built around a simple idea: the ship should never feel like one thing. Sailors will discover more than 20 new Happenings events led by our cast of characters who blow up the traditional cruise director role. Across the Red Room, The Manor, The Roundabout, The Perch, dining venues and late-night social spaces, from big-stage crowd moments to intimate experiences that feel like the secret party you stumbled into. The goal is bigger laughs, louder rooms, slower rituals, stronger connections and another reason to say yes to one more thing before calling it a night. In the Red Room, new main-stage moments bring high-impact, audience-powered energy into the heart of the ship. Sink or Swim turns the theater into a high-stakes game show where every decision pushes Sailors closer to reward or disaster, while Sports Smarts blends sports trivia with physical challenges for a fast, loud, highly participatory takeover. In The Manor, Pay Attent!on broadcasts unpredictable vintage TV game show vibes, and Nice Box! unpacks mystery retail in a way only the Diva could. These can’t miss moments in the new Happenings slate serve up bigger reveals, bigger laughs and maximum vibes. After dark, the energy shifts into something bolder, messier and more deliciously social. Concepts like Dirty Laundry turn strangers into teammates, secrets into conversation starters and the room itself into the show, while Off the Record is a high-stakes social strategy game of secrets and betrayal. These aren’t passive sit-and-watch moments, they’re character-driven, Sailor-led experiences built to help people loosen up, laugh harder and leave with new shipmates. The new lineup also leans into Virgin Voyages’ food-and-drink credentials with flavor-first Happenings led by The Foodie that feel unmistakably Virgin: Extra Virgin: Aperitivo Club explores classic spritzes, premium olive oils, and the art (and science) behind pasta pairings.
The point is not just to fill the calendar, it is to make every venue feel like it has a pulse. For Sailors looking for something softer or more restorative, the slate expands into daytime creativity and wellness. Silent Sweat offers a headphone-led reset at The Perch, VHS Volume 2: The Great British Burn Off brings Britpop irreverence to fitness, and hands-on concepts like Upcycle Club, Knot Today and Hooked turn reclaimed materials, ropework and crochet into tactile take-home memories. For those who want a little more edge to their sea day, Extra! Extra! turns strange headlines and surprising stories into a fast-paced newsroom of creative chaos, while Check, Please brings Sir Richard Branson's lifelong love of chess to sea in a social tournament format that is equal parts strategy and spectacle, and Knees Up pours a pint of a proper pub quiz at sea. Elsewhere, Destination Unknown, Stargazers, Till Bar Do Us Part-y and Sun Society give the ship even more range, from map-based adventure and mythmaking under the stars to poolside glamour where leisure is practiced with intention. Where She’s Sailing Valiant Lady’s upcoming seasons are as expansive as her glow-up, beginning with the Italian Grand Tour, French Riviera and Ibiza. Her Northern Explorer series sails from Amsterdam through Iceland, while a special Total Eclipse of the Med itinerary gives Sailors the rare chance to experience totality on open water. In October, she repositions to San Juan for six- to eight-night Caribbean sailings through April 2027. Valiant Lady is sailing now — renewed, more personal and ready for what comes next. For returning Sailors, this is more than a comeback. It is a ship stepping into her next era with fair winds, fresh energy and more reasons than ever to come back aboard.
