(Press Release) FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (December 10, 2025) – Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale announces the debut of ViceVersa, A Fort Lauderdale Residency – the first-ever residency from Miami’s James Beard-nominated aperitivo bar by acclaimed bartender Valentino Longo. Currently at no. 56 on North America’s 50 Best Bars 2025, ViceVersa is recognized as one of the country’s most innovative bars and brings its playful, modern approach to Italian aperitivo with South Florida flair to Fort Lauderdale, now through the May 2026.

ViceVersa is guided by the concept that there is no wrong time for aperitivo, it can be early afternoon as a pre-dinner ritual or vice versa, to enjoy while capping off an evening. As such, ViceVersa, A Fort Lauderdale Residency completes one’s experience at the hotel, complementing its Michelin-awarded dining experiences, Evelyn’s Fort Lauderdale and MAASS. ViceVersa, A Fort Lauderdale Residency, is designed as an experience for the senses, infused with the aromas, flavors, and textures of expertly crafted cocktails.

“We opened ViceVersa just a year and a half ago with the goal of showcasing my Italian heritage and love of aperitivo culture alongside the bounty of ingredients found only in South Florida to offer visitors a truly distinct aperitivo experience,” said ViceVersa co-owner Valentino Longo. “Bringing ViceVersa to Fort Lauderdale is an exciting new experience that allows us to expand on our original intention and affords us the opportunity to share the joyful act of aperitivo with even more guests. This residency in particular takes place in a beautiful setting that truly reflects the feeling of vacation, whether you’re a local needing to get away from a long day or a guest discovering the city for the first time. We look forward to welcoming you on your aperitivo journey.”

“ViceVersa brings an elevated yet playful spirit that aligns perfectly with the lifestyle of our hotel and our guests,” shares General Manager Mali Carow. “Fort Lauderdale continues to emerge as a destination for world-class food and beverage experiences, and this residency adds a dynamic new layer to that story. Valentino’s approach to hospitality complements the relaxed luxury that defines Four Seasons Fort Lauderdale, and we’re thrilled to offer this new lobby experience to our community and visitors.”

A Lobby That Transforms at 5 P.M.
Set within the hotel’s lobby, ViceVersa becomes the property’s social heart at the newly installed bar channels the elegance of Milan blended with contemporary Fort Lauderdale style, echoing the hotel’s signature approach to relaxed luxury. Each evening at 5 p.m., the space transforms from sunlit elegance to a sensory-rich lounge. Guests are immersed in a world of eclectic Italian and American beats, intimate seating vignettes, and cocktails crafted as works of art, with energetic weekend vibes courtesy of a DJ every Friday and Saturday.  Longo himself will appear on select dates, offering guests to connect with the artistry behind each creation, while Rosy Villanova leads the day-to-day as Head Bartender.

A Vacation-Inspired Menu by Valentino Longo
For this residency, Longo debuts Vacanza, a cocktail menu inspired by Italy’s beloved state of mind--vacation. Each drink captures a different expression of leisure, from vibrant spritzes to inventive interpretations of spirit-forward classics. Highlights, with those exclusive to Fort Lauderdale marked with an *, include:
  • Martini Doppio – A bold reinvention of the classic Gibson, combining Grey Goose or Bombay Sapphire with Americano Rosa and Tio Pepe, finished with pickled onions that add a tangy pop to each silky sip
  • ViceVersa Negroni – Bombay Sapphire meets ViceVersa’s signature Mi-To amaro blend in a perfectly balanced, bittersweet symphony of flavor that’s both complex and approachable
  • Rita – Codigo Blanco, mango, Gavi di Gavi, lime, spicy agave, and a float of Barolo wine come together in a vibrant, tropical-inspired twist on a classic, with playful layers of fruit, spice, and acidity
  • *Beeswax Old Fashioned – Russell’s bourbon, Cynar, with walnut bitters to create a rich, layered cocktail with a hint of earthy sweetness and warming depth
  • *White Wine Spritz – Italicus, peach, white wine, elderberry, and soda combine in a sparkling, aromatic spritz that’s bright, floral, and effortlessly refreshing
  • *Coast to Coast – Aperol, toasted coconut, and prosecco deliver a light, crisp, and subtly tropical spritz, perfect for sipping while soaking in the South Florida sun

Completing the Culinary Journey at Four Seasons Fort Lauderdale
ViceVersa, A Fort Lauderdale Residency, introduces Fort Lauderdale to the Italian art of aperitivo, where cocktails are more than drinks—they are a social ritual to savor, share, and celebrate flavor, aroma, and craftsmanship. Designed as both the perfect beginning and end to an evening, it complements the hotel’s Michelin-awarded dining experiences. Guests can continue their sensory journey at Evelyn’s Fort Lauderdale by Chef Brandon Salomon or MAASS by Chef Ryan Ratino, each offering distinctive coastal cuisine. By transforming the lobby into a multisensory playground of taste, sound, and style, ViceVersa, A Fort Lauderdale Residency, positions Four Seasons Fort Lauderdale as a destination where creativity, artistry, and coastal sophistication converge.

ViceVersa, A Fort Lauderdale Residency, is open daily from 5:00 p.m. to Midnight, accepting walk-ins only.
