Splash Magazines Worldwide GALVESTON_ MSC's mantra is "European style, American comfort." In Texas, you might describe it as "savior-faire" meets "yee-haw!" For the first time, European-based MSC Cruises is stationing a ship -- MSC Seascape -- in the home port of Galveston, TX, and to celebrate, hosted a Lone Star-sized debut party to mark the occasion. State and local officials, as well as MSC executives, were on hand to cut the ribbon on MSC's new Terminal 16, a $156-million, state-of-the-art terminal complex at the port of Galveston. Media was flown as well, with MSC embracing all things Texan as Seascape was readied for her first sailing out of Galveston. When invited guests boarded the ship, they were greeted by shouting-and waving crew, wearing 10-gallon hats and cowboy garb. READ MORE.
