Enjoying Nature, Brick-by-Brick

​WEST PALM BEACH_The newest exhibit at Mounts Botanical Garden will delight both children and the inner child in all of us.  It's called "Nature Pop!", from artist Sean Kenney, and consists of 40 sculptures made from LEGO  bricks -- some requiring hundreds of hours and hundreds of thousands of bricks.  Scattered throughout the gardens, these colorful artworks do indeed "pop" as you encounter them. "Reconnect with your Inner Child.  This new exhibition from acclaimed artist Sean Kenney features over 40 sculptures made from more than 800,000 LEGO® pieces and explores the beauty of nature through highly stylized, colorful displays that stand in striking contrast with their surroundings.  Each sculpture’s site placement and landscaping were carefully curated.  The Mounts Botanical Horticulture Team designed the sculpture locations specifically for each piece, with a broader theme in mind. "
