Ponce Explored Fashion

Listen, if you know me, you know I love fashion. Plus, I have always had an affection for that zany explorer, Ponce de Leon. Was he seeking the fabled, Fountain of Youth? Probably more like excessive wealth and supreme power. Whatever his true motivations, he did know one thing...how to dress. I mean look at him. That outfit would work very well in La Florida (his name for Florida)

I mean if you are going to explore the Atlantic coastline of South Florida to the Keys and beyond, you MUST look the part, don't you agree?

​ Although I do wonder about his leg adornments. What is going on there? Are we looking at a complex system of layering? Are they pants and shorts with socks thrown in? It is very confusing, but as I layer-dress for comfort in the climes of So-Flo- I get his motivation.

So, I tip my fedora to, Ponce. Living the La Florida lifestyle is pretty cool...no matter how you chose to dress.
