Head south until you run out of road and you'll find yourself in Key West, an island of some four square miles, 150 miles or so from Miami and 90 miles from Cuba. We've made several trips to this iconic region of Florida, including this tour in 2018.

In May, 2019, we had the opportunity to visit Coral World on St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands, one of our favorite destinations. Here's what we saw: ST. THOMAS_Some 20 minutes from the cruise docks, and adjacent to one of this island's most beautiful beaches for snorkeling, is Coral World Ocean Park. Situated on Coki Point, More than just another marine life park, it's home for citizens of land, sea and air.

GO TO THE ARTICLE. In 2019, we took our first river cruise, visiting the charming cities along Germany's waterways. At Regensburg, we spent time in Europe's largest Medieval town, including the the oldest restaurant in continuous operation, opened in the 1100s! TAKE A LOOK.
This was one of our stops on our Empire State Road Trip that we took in June, 2021. Located near Buffalo, New York, it's well worth a visit. Take a look: This "Jewel on the Lake" was built between 1926-1931 for Isabelle Martin, wife of Buffalo businessman Darwin Martin. Wright also designed their home in the city, and Graycliff was their summer estate. One of the home's distinctive features are the rows of windows front and back, providing a transparent view of the lake and plenty of light, tailored to suit Mrs. Martin's poor eyesight. It also is one of the only times Wright designed the gardens.
READ THE ARTICLE We love train travel, and have spent many hours on Amtrak. One of our most memorable trips is on their Coast Starlight route. This is from April, 2020: They say if you only take one train ride, take this one -- Amtrak's Coast Starlight. It begins at Union Station in Los Angeles and ends in Seattle. Several years ago, we took the entire trip, but this time around, we're only going as far as Emeryville, just outside San Francisco. The journey will take us almost 12 hours, and encompass some of the most beautiful scenery California has to offer. Join us!
