Fireworks Are Back After a One-Year Leave of Absence
By GERRY BARKER
North Palm Beach Life July 5, 2019 After a one-year hiatus, the fireworks returned to North Palm Beach with a big bang. Cancelled last year due to construction at the country club, the Village brought it back since the new clubhouse is close to completion. They opened up the golf course to food trucks, folding chairs, music, sack races and tug-of-wars -- an old-fashioned Fourth of July right out of the movie "Picnic" (even though that film celebrated Labor Day). The 30-minute fireworks show was pretty spectacular. Take a look. |
