Gerry J. Barker
Gerry is an award-winning career journalist and digital pioneer who has been writing about travel and cruising for the last decade. His work appears on North Palm Beach Life, a website he established with his wife, Pam, in 2015, as well as on All Things Cruise, a national cruise blog, and Splash Magazines Worldwide.
He is a former rock music critic, reporter and editor for The Fort Worth Star-Telegram, where he was part of a team that created StarText, one of the nation's first online newspapers. Gerry also served as an online general manager for The Dallas Morning News, the Columbus Dispatch and was Vice-President-TBO at Media General's Florida Publishing Group. While at The Palm Beach Post, he was honored with a Digital Innovation Award.
