Welcome to Miami Central
Pam and I had facing seats in the Select Car. The Select seats are wider and snacks are complimentary.

The train made a brief stop at the Ft. Lauderdale Station. The ride there from West Palm took about 30 minutes.
Our attendant was Jaquea, who took great care of us. Again, warm, friendly and great customer service.

A little more than an hour after leaving West Palm we were in Miami at the beautiful new station/dining/transportation complex called Miami Central. Still under construction, it will eventually feature shops, apartments and more than 20 restaurants, as well become a transportation hub for the Tri-Rail and the Metro. Eventually, that hub will expand to Orlando and later, there are plans to extend to Tampa and Jacksonville.
Brightline also has a partnership with Lyft, the on-demand ridership company. The station itself is near world-class museums, American Airlines arena and the Port of Miami. Taking a cruise? Check your bags or use the baggage area on the train. Brightline seems to have thought of everything for maximizing your "car-free" travel experience.

If there were any doubts on where we are, this should clear it up
Thanks to Ilon for taking this snap at the front of the train.
