North Palm Beach Life Published Nov. 5, 2021 MIAMI -- The much-anticipated Citizens MiamiCentral (in the area formerly known as Central Fare) got a preview at a grand reopening VIP party last night. Brightline President Patrick Goddard and C3 (Creating Culinary Communities) CEO Sam Nazarian were on hand to talk about this new joint venture that is bringing 16 food venues to Brightline's flagship station. "We needed to make (MiamiCentral) a lifestyle destination," said Goddard, with a culinary experience that reflected South Florida. "There is nobody that understands relevance in the food and beverage community than Sam Nazarian," he said. "People want access, they want variety," said Nazarian. "The consumer today is a lot more educated ... when it comes to food. Our tech platform brings all of this together in combination with what Patrick and Brightline have built, which is monumental. It's a once in a generation project." "C3 focuses around brands and technology," Nazarian said, "integrating some of the best culinary talent. These amazing culinary centers, like the one here in Miami, are showrooms for these brands." Citizens brings a lineup of famed international chefs, including Dario Cecchini (coined "The World's Greatest Butcher" by the New York Times), Michelin-starred chef Dani García and Masaharu Morimoto to MiamiCentral, along with brands Umami Burger, Krispy Rice, Sam's Crispy Chicken and Cicci di Carne. There's also homegrown favorite Cindy Lou's Cookies, and Cindy was on hand to talk about the inspiration for her famous cookies and how cookies "make people happy." We know for a fact her creations do just that. Join us for a food-and-drink crawl around the new Citizens MiamiCentral: |
