When you have a cruise ship that can accommodate almost 7,000 guests, having two bartenders who can work 24/7 really makes sense. Meet "Mix" and "Mingle," the robotic mixologists who man the Bionic Bar on Harmony of the Seas. 

Use your Sea Pass, sit down at the digital device on one of the tables and order up any one of 127 specialty cocktails, or create one of your own. Your order is noted on the digital board (below), which notes wait time, ingredients and even occasionally, a witty saying, according to Project Manager Alessandro Incisa, whose company, Makr Shakr in Italy, developed the technology.

The only thing they don't do is listen to your hard luck stories, or laugh or your jokes. You may want to visit one of the human bartenders for that. -- Gerry
