Friends of the North Palm Library host treats and sweets
By PAMELA BARKER
Community Reporter/Social Media Editor North Palm Beach Life What a treat I found at the North Palm Beach Library on a rainy Saturday. I mean that, literally. Treats, in the form of cookies and cakes, were being sold by the Friends of the North Palm Beach Library. Upon entering the library, I received a warm welcome, and headed for the festive looking table of goodies. I snagged a plate of sugar cookies with sprinkles, and found out they had been baked by Maire Pantani, Treasurer of the Friends of the NPBL. Raffle tickets were also being sold, and although I never win anything, I dropped a few into the cookie jar. Now that the bake sale is done, next up for the group is their, Great Book Sale; January 27th-31st. Back to the Bake Sale...the cookies are delicious! Photos by NPBL |
