Don's review: We had dinner at Cafe Amelie. Excellent food and superior service. Shannon had grouper with a citrus jalapeño salsa and asparagus and a champagne cocktail. I had an Italian sausage pasta dish with a vodka cream sauce and a sazerac. ( must have a sazerac while here!). Very reasonably priced. The service was absolutely perfect. The atmosphere is what puts this restaurant over the top. Outside courtyard at dusk was very romantic and enjoyable. Just really can't beat this place. And oh yeah. The cheddar jalapeño biscuits were amazing. Also had a borrata crostini appetizer. Which was awesome.
