CHEF JOE PEEBLES. Joe Peebles, the new Executive Chef at Sandpiper's Cove Restaurant and Bar in Old Port Cove, started his culinary career at age 14 as a pastry cook in Charlottesville, Virginia. His love of food started early, cooking family recipes with his mother in their Virginia home.

Open daily for lunch and dinner, and serving drinks in the Wheelhouse Bar, patrons enjoy scenic views of Old Port Cove Marina and wide expanses of blue water.
We highly recommend the Sunday brunch. Come early and enjoy 99-cent mimosas. Best deal in town. Good food, friendly service and yachts. What's not to like? |

Thanksgiving is special at Sandpiper's. They offered a multi-course meal at a fixed price -- $44 a person -- and white glove service throughout. Chef David carved our own personal turkey (every diner gets their own) and even better, the leftover turkey and all the fixings are packaged up and sent home with you. Just one more thing to give thanks for.
