(PRESS RELEASE)_MIAMI, April 28, 2023 – With the debut of Carnival Cruise Line’s “Fun Italian Style” offering only weeks away, Carnival Venezia is showing off her new hull livery, but with a nod to the ship’s Costa Cruises roots, the red stripe on the hull has been painted yellow and will correspond with the yellow on the ship’s funnel.

The unique take on the Carnival livery is just the beginning of what the ship holds in store for its guests, who will experience fun influenced by the ship's Italian design with the same warm hospitality Carnival is known for fleetwide.

Once Carnival Venezia’s enhancement project is completed in Spain, the ship will embark guests on a 15-day Carnival Journeys transatlantic sailing May 29, 2023 from Barcelona and arrive to her new home at the Manhattan Cruise Terminal in New York City.  The ship’s first cruise from New York – a four-day cruise to Bermuda – is set for June 15, 2023.

(PRESS RELEASE)_Monaco – April 24, 2023 - The MSC Foundation has announced a new partnership that sees it joining forces with the Horn Foundation to support its Pangaea X Program, conceived to help young people develop impactful projects that contribute to achieving certain key UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Salient amongst these are SDG 7 - Affordable and Clean Energy, SDG 12 - Responsible Consumption and Production, SDG 14 - Life Below Water, and SDG 15 - Life On Land.

The recently launched second cycle of the Pangaea X intensive training and coaching program will equip young participants with the essential tools, knowledge and resources to analyze, assess and design their own environmental driven projects. The program will be delivered through an online platform, face-to-face workshops, mentorships and networking events with the aim of encouraging young individuals to become agents of social change in their communities.

(PRESS RELEASE)_This morning, the New York Knicks and their Official Cruise Line Partner, MSC Cruises, hosted a Jr. Knicks clinic at the basketball court onboard MSC Meraviglia during her inaugural call at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal. Youth from Jr. Knicks affiliate and Garden of Dreams Foundation partners, Madison Square Boys & Girls Club and SCO Family of Services, took part in learning basketball skills, drills, and training as well as games run by the Jr. Knicks coaching staff. Participants also had the opportunity to meet with Knicks alumni and receive branded giveaways from the Knicks. The event concluded with a three-point shootout with Knicks alumni.
 
Knicks alumni included John Starks, Latrell Sprewell, Walt Frazier, Jamal Crawford, Larry Johnson, Jr. Knicks instructors and 50 youth ages 8-14 from the Madison Square Boys and Girls Club and SCO Family of Services. The event was held at the Brooklyn Harbor Cruise Terminal onboard cruise ship MSC Meraviglia.

Cruise veterans Rick Spath will bring out Crystal Serenity when the ship returns to service on July 31, and Russ Grieve will lead the team aboard Crystal Symphony starting with its inaugural voyage on Sept. 1. Raphael Derkson will also be returning, first to serve as the start-up Musical Director for Crystal Serenity and then take over as Cruise Director following Spath.
