(PRESS RELEASE)_Looking for an unforgettable romantic getaway this February? Cheeca Lodge & Spa offers a relaxing, island setting for a couple’s retreat. Sprawling over 27 peaceful acres, the iconic Florida Keys resort offers charming oceanfront suites with an expansive lanai that leads way to private open-air spa tubs and spectacular views. The resort recently debuted 43 new luxury oceanfront suites with these signature romantic amenities.
When it comes to Valentine’s Day dining, three of the resort’s restaurants are offering pre-fixe menus. Whether it be a sophisticated oceanfront dinner for two at Pierre’s Restaurant, a toes-in-the-sand special at Morada Bay Beach Café, or a relaxed yet elegant meal at Atlantic’s Edge, Cheeca will deliver an intimate atmosphere for the special night.
Cheeca’s signature restaurant Atlantic Edge’s will offer a Valentine’s Dinner for two ($180 per couple). Menu highlights include red beet hummus, oysters, ceviche style, and butter lettuce and little gem salad as nibbles to start. Second course comes with a whole yellowtail snapper for two with sweet pepper escabeche, crisp plantains, and avocado. To end on a sweet note, enjoy a “For the Love of Chocolate'' dessert featuring tastes and textures of Cheeca’s Chocolate Desserts.
Located just across the legendary Overseas Highway, at Pierre’s Restaurant guests may bond over the “Lovers To Share” menu ($220 per couple) consisting of drunken oysters, lobster ravioli, chateaubriand, and a chocolate kiss. For couples with differing palates, Pierre’s Valentine’s Dinner prix-fixe ($125 pp) offers a duck confit brioche amuse bouche, the choice of a tuna tartare, drunken oysters, or a hearts of palm salad appetizer, cedar plank seatrout, porcini dusted filet de boeuf, or a truffle gnocchi entree, and a chocolate fondant or passion fruit tart dessert. Morada Bay Beach Café’s Valentine’s Day Special Menu ($75 pp) includes a shrimp cocktail or oysters Rockefeller appetizer, prime rib roast with baked Yukon gold potato or stuffed lobster tail with lemon butter sauce grilled asparagus entree, and a bittersweet chocolate cheesecake brownie dessert served with vanilla ice cream
