Seatrade Returning to Miami in 2024

(PRESS RELEASE)_FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (30 March 2023) – The world’s largest cruise trade show and conference, Seatrade Cruise Global and the Miami Beach Convention Center confirmed today the event will return to Miami Beach from 8-11 April 2024. The four-day conference and three-day tradeshow historically attracts more than 10,000 attendees – including high-level cruise line executives, thought leaders and innovators from all facets of the cruise industry.

The return to Miami Beach comes after the Miami Beach Convention Center invested $640 million to reimagine and renovate the 1.4 million-square-foot convention center, which features 500,000-square-foot exhibition hall, five ballrooms, a convenient 800-spot roof deck parking and 10 acres of greenspace, Peterson added.

“Having this prestigious event return, speaks volumes of our ability to maintain our momentum, and we’re now in an even better position to welcome Seatrade back to Miami Beach,” says David Whitaker, President and CEO of the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Next year’s conference will mark Seatrade Cruise Global’s return to Miami along with its newly expanded F&B@Sea event. The popular, interactive addition to the show highlights the importance of food and beverage experience for the cruise industry.

Seatrade’s return to Miami is part of its long-term commitment to the City of Miami Beach and is indicative of the event’s dedication to the entire cruise community.

“Seatrade Cruise Global started in Miami 36 years ago and it has been held there annually for almost all of that time, apart from during Miami Beach Convention Center renovations and in 2023 when our show dates overlapped with the Formula 1 Grand Prix,” says Andrew Williams, Executive Vice President of Informa Markets, the owner of Seatrade. “We thank Broward County / Fort Lauderdale for hosting us in those years and look forward to being back in Miami and at the Miami Beach Convention Center again in 2024.”
