Gast Joins YMCA Board

Allen Gast

(PRESS RELEASE)_West Palm Beach, Fla. – The YMCA of the Palm Beaches is pleased to announce that Allen Gast has joined as their newest board member. Allen joins a team of well-respected and highly involved community leaders committed to giving back and providing support to its neighbors. 
 
Gast is the Founder and President of Gast Construction Group, Inc., an award-winning construction management firm specializing in commercial and residential construction in South Florida.  Gast recalls, “The YMCA was such an impactful place to me growing up. I am honored to have the opportunity to be part of an institution that provides so many great services to our community.”
 
Striving to be a positive and active member of the local community, Gast looks forward to bringing his vision, relentless work ethic, and never-give-up attitude to the board of YMCA of the Palm Beaches. As a new YMCA board member, he will use his talents to help the Y promote youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Gast is aligned with The Y’s cause of helping others develop mentally and physically so they can contribute, belong and thrive to help strengthen our community. Gast also serves as the Chairman of the ACE Mentor Program of Palm Beach and Martin Counties and is a member of the Construction Oversight and Review Committee for the School District of Palm Beach County. 
 
Gast is a graduate of the University of Florida and M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Construction Management.
 
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, fishing, and watching Gator sports.  He, his wife and their two sons reside in West Palm Beach.
