Held March 7 at The Hangar in West Palm Beach, guests donned their most stylish, food and art-focused cocktail apparel for the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County’s annual fundraising soirée, An A-MUSE-ing Evening. Taking a cue from the success of 2023’s “Met Gala” inspired event, the lively rendezvous was led by the Council’s Advocacy, Outreach, and Events Committee Chair Cheryl K. Crowley and featured the much-anticipated Muse Award presentations, exhilarating live performances, artist-foodie collaborations, culinary and cocktail delights and a silent auction featuring original artwork by Palm Beach County-based professional artists. The Cultural Council paid the artists for their work and additional proceeds went to the Cultural Council.

​WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – March 27, 2024 – Discover The Palm Beaches (DTPB), the tourism marketing organization for Palm Beach County, announces that two team members have been selected for the 2024 Smart Women in Meetings Awards by Smart Meetings magazine. Kelly Cavers, chief sales officer, was inducted into the Hall of Fame, and Aly X. Fernandez, associate vice president of destination services was selected as an Industry Leader.
 
In addition, DTPB was also thrilled that two of its community partners, Paget Kirkland of Kirkland Event & Destination Services and Katie Jordan of The Boca Raton, were selected as Stellar Performers in the 9th annual awards.

Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. “Rhythms for the Brain”, sponsored by Cleveland Clinic, and emceed by South Florida PBS host Frank Licari, was an interactive experience with movement, conversation and transformative insights.

(Press Release) (West Palm Beach, FL – March 27, 2024) Friends of the Mounts Botanical Garden will be hosting two week-long programs in July for nature curious youngsters ages 7 to 11. Garden Explorers Summer Camp offers science-based fun and nature experiences, Monday through Friday, 9 am to 3 pm, July 15-19 and July 22-26.
 
“Eco-conscious and green-leaning kids can register for one of both of these weeklong camps because each one will offer something new and different,” promises Mounts Interim Co-Director Misty Stoller. “Activities will take place both outside and indoor, so campers will have access to a cool, dry space in the event of excessive heat or rain.”

(Press Release) West Palm Beach, FL - March 27, 2024 – Resource Depot, a nonprofit creative reuse center in West Palm Beach, is proud to announce the success of its fourth annual REfashion Weekend fundraiser which was held February 23-24, 2024. The fundraiser featured a sale of secondhand and up-cycled clothing and received overwhelming support from the community, attracting 176 guests and raising over $24,000. The event also kept more than 4,000 pounds (over 2 tons) of excess clothing from ending up in landfills.
