(PRESS RELEASE)_(Boca Raton, Fla. – July 26, 2022) The Board of Directors of the Gold Coast PR Council, (GCPRC), today announced the winners of the 17th annual Bernays Awards. GCPRC is South Florida’s largest independent association of public relations, communications, and marketing professionals and bestows its Bernays Awards to honor excellence in these fields.
 
More than 70 communications and media professionals attended the awards ceremony, which was held on July 21 at the Delray Beach Golf Club. T.A. Walker, Reporter for WPTV’s Today on 5, served as emcee. Honors were presented in 10 competitive categories, with additional special awards selected by the nonprofit organization’s board of directors.

Kids Club “Fun In The District”
Calling all Kids Club members and children who love to have fun! On Saturday, August 6, from 1–3PM, visit the mall’s new event space, The District, and partake in a variety of family-friendly programming, including kids’ yoga and Zumbini classes, and painting workshops (artwork will later be displayed around The District). The “littles” will also enjoy face painting, fun games, and a chance to meet their favorite costume characters.
 
Mall hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Brightline Welcomes Trains to Orlando

(July 21, 2022) - Brightline, the only provider of modern, eco-friendly intercity rail welcomes two more trains to Orlando, “Bright Green 2” and “Bright Pink 2.” Brightline’s two trains arrived together at Brightline’s Vehicle Maintenance Facility located south of Orlando International Airport, adding to the fleet of trains that will carry passengers between Orlando and South Florida.
 
Bright Green 2 and Bright Pink 2, six-car trains consisting of two locomotives and four passenger coaches each, left the Siemens Rolling Stock facility in Sacramento on July 8. In total they traveled 3,000 miles across 10 states en route to Florida.

Brightline Debuts Kids Summer Passport

(PRESS RELEASE)_Summer just got more exciting for the kiddos with Brightline’s first ever Kids Summer Trainee Passport, an exciting new program for kids that inspires adventure by exploration of South Florida by train Starting July 14 through Labor Day weekend, kids riding Brightline will receive an activity bag with their first Brightline Trainee Passport, where they have the chance to win special prizes for collecting stickers as they travel to new destinations.

How to Collect Stickers
  1. Visit all three Brightline stations: Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. 
  2. Enjoy Florida’s favorite children’s attractions (kids complimentary entrance included with Brightline ticket): Palm Beach Zoo, Museum of Discovery + Science, Miami Children’s Museum and Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science. 
  3. Sign Brightline’s safety pledge, which educates kids on proper safety around railroad tracks.

Collect Stickers, Earn Prizes
  • First Prize: Once four stickers are collected, kids can visit a Guest Service desk at any of the three Brightline stations to receive a swag bag with fun Brightline merchandise and a surprise gift. 
  • Grand Prize: Once all eight stickers are collected, kids can win a prize the entire family can enjoy. To redeem the grand prize, families must email a picture of their completed passport to TeamMarketing@GoBrightline.com.
