(PRESS RELEASE)_(West Palm Beach, FL – April 26, 2023) The League of Women Voters of Palm Beach County (LWVPBC) today invited voters and residents to another informative Hot Topic Discussion and Lunch—perfectly timed just a few weeks before the start of this year’s Hurricane Season.

Guest Speaker: John Gerard, WPTV First Alert Weather
Currently a member of the WPTV First Alert Weather team, John Gerard previously worked as a meteorologist in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale television market for nearly 25 years combined at WPLG (ABC), WTVJ (NBC) and WFOR (CBS). He has won two Emmys in his career and holds the distinguished Certified Broadcast Meteorologist seal of approval from the American Meteorological Society.

Registration Fee: $25 (includes lunch)
Tour of Garden Fee: $12
+ Lunch begins at 11:30 am. Choice of boxed lunch: Strawberry Citrus Salad or Chicken Salad Sandwich with Cole Slaw (black/white cookie included with both).
