(PRESS RELEASE)_ (West Palm Beach, Fla.) Friday, July 28, 2023 -Nonprofits First proudly announces the first-ever Honorary Chair of their Lucky 7TH Annual Hats Off Nonprofit Awards, Danielle Moore. Danielle is currently serving as Mayor of The Town of Palm Beach. She will be a vital part of the awards event's success in the Cohen Pavilion at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts on Tuesday, October 3, from 5:30 pm-7:30 pm. Danielle Moore is a true leader, community supporter, and longtime resident of Palm Beach and will be instrumental in promoting and fundraising for this year's annual awards. Currently, she serves as the President of The Mary Alice Fortin Foundation, Inc. and Fortin Enterprises as well as the Vice President of The Fortin Foundation of Florida, Inc. In addition, she serves as the President of The Barker Welfare Foundation and is a member of its Finance and Executive Committees. Danielle is a member of the Executive Committee of the Town of Palm Beach United Way, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Palm Beach Preservation Foundation, a Director of the Duke Kenan Board of Ethics, a Board Member at Rosarian Academy, an Ex-Officio Member of The Historical Society of Palm Beach County and a Director of The Women's Southern Golf Association. She has previously served as the Chairman of the Town of Palm Beach United Way, Chairman of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County, and on the Boards of The ARC of Palm Beach County, Town of Palm Beach Recreation Advisory Commission, Town of Palm Beach Planning and Zoning Commission, The Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties, The Garden Club of Palm Beach, and the Women's Trans National Golf Association. Several local organizations have recognized Danielle's dedication to our community by receiving several awards.
