(PRESS RELEASE)_(West Palm Beach, FL – May 2, 2019) The Palm Beach County Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society, dedicated to promoting the preservation, conservation and restoration of native plants and native plant communities of Florida, is hosting its 14th Annual Rare & Unique Native Plant Auction on Tuesday, May 21.

The theme of the 14th Annual Rare & Unique Native Plant Auction is Tune into Natives. In harmony with mother nature, native plants protect the food web, attract butterflies and birds, conserve water and create an ecologically friendly and sustainable landscape.

Bid categories this year will include among others:
+ Don’t Worry, Bee Happy – a collection of pollinator plants
+ Blueberry Hill – hard to find Florida native blueberries
+ Begin the Beguine – perfect for starting a native garden
+ Passion Flower of My Heart – a collection of Passiflora sp.
+ Octopus’s Garden – native aquatic plants for a pond garden
+ You Belong Among the Wildflowers – a collection of beautiful native wildflowers
