Arts Garage Announces July Shows

The Art of Laughter with Headliner
Monique Marvez
South Florida comedian Monique Marvez can be found being funny on Showtime, Amazon Prime and HBOMax, as well as on YouTube, Spotify, Pandora, and Sirius/XM. She has been featured on both Jamie Foxx’s Foxxhole and Snoop Dogg’s Bad Girls of Comedy, and will appear at Arts Garage along with comedians Chris Robinson and James Patterson.

Tal Cohen Presents Jewish Jazz
A Grammy award winning pianist hailing from Israel, Tal Cohen with his unique blend of Jewish melodies, traditional jazz harmony and impeccable rhythmic palette. He was the winner of the Barry Harris National Piano Competition and the recipient of the prestigious Freedman Fellowship award at the Sydney Opera House. His album Gentle Giants, featuring jazz legends Robert Hurst and Greg Osby, received 4 stars from Downbeat magazine and was recognized as one of the best jazz albums of 2018. Tickets: $25 & $30

Otis Cadillac & the El Dorados Rhythm & Blues Review
The Otis Cadillac and the El Dorados R&B Revue is an 11-piece band that performs Classic R&B, Root Rock N’ Roll, and other Blues-oriented material. The band performs in a style that emulates the R&B revues of the late ‘50s and early ‘60s. It is the goal of each performance to recreate the atmosphere and energy that gave birth to Rock N’ Roll in that era. The Revue features the extraordinarily talented female vocal quartet of the Seville Sisters, who provide colorful harmonies, featured solos, dance routines, and on-stage banter.

From the famed Lincoln Center and notable Jazz and Blues Festivals to A-list Night Clubs, la-crème-de-la crème cruise ships and Concert venues to include singing our Nations Anthem in sports arenas, JayCee has delighted audiences around the nation with her harmonious, dreamy rhythms and exciting style.

An Evening with Moonlight Thief
After lighting up dance floors throughout South Florida for the past three years, Moonlight Thief is bringing the dance music of the 70s and 80s to Arts Garage. The band takes pride in making sure no one leaves a show without having heard music they grew up with and find delight in.

A Tribute to the Salsa Classics
With all the greatest hits from Sonora Poncena, El Gran Combo, Willie Rosario, Ray Barreto and many more. David Lucca y Los Clasicos will take you on a journey to the time when Salsa began and became a favorite for Latin dancers. Twice nominated for Latin Grammy Awards, he has traveled the world playing with such artists as Tito Puente, Ray Barreto, Dave Valentin, Hilton Ruiz, Gilberto Santo Rosa, and many more.

Although best known for serving 26 years as Conan O’Brien’s musical director, guitarist and bandleader, Jimmy Vivino has always considered himself “a blues man with a job.” He has produced, lead bands and recorded with numerous rock and roll and blues artists, including Bob Weir, Keith Richards, Elvis Costello, Levon Helm, Phoebe Snow, Dion, Laura Nyro, John Sebastian and more.

Special guest performer will be RiPP Lee, an unconventional drag chameleon from Vero Beach.
