![]() Writing, whether books, blogs or interviews, can be much like existing, alone, on an island. Eerily silent. Therefore, when a person bothers to provide a thought on the work, it is unexpected. This is especially true if you have no agent, no marketing campaign, only yourself to press your words into the world. So, it was fun for me when an individual (who has read all four of my books) took the time to offer an opinion. The reader opined that my books were "wry and light-hearted." Book number five, currently in the works, is not so light-hearted. Sarcasm dwells within, there is no stopping it, and it will always be woven into my creations. Nice that someone floated their opinion to me. Writing on that island is what I do, but words drifting in from the outside world is refreshing. My characters...Palmer, Anya, Frederick, Lizzie, Victor, Embry, Addison, etc., etc., appreciate anyone getting to know them. Meet my sardonic fiction at Amazon: Panama Palmer, Privately Palmer, The Bainbridges of the Palm Beaches, and Zandra. -- Pam
