(PRESS RELEASE)_DELRAY BEACH, FL – The opportunity to be an integral part of a professional tennis match is available to kids in the South Florida community at the upcoming $650,000 Delray Beach Open by VITACOST.com.
Applications for Ballkids are now being accepted for the tournament’s ATP Tour and ATP Champions Tour events on February 15-24, 2019 at the Delray Beach Stadium & Tennis Center.
Ballkids must be 12 years old or older and attend training sessions to prepare them for their vital role in the professional matches starring ATP Tour stars like world #6 Kevin Anderson, defending champion American Frances Tiafoe and Aussie whirlwind Nick Kyrgios. Each participant will receive uniforms, meals during working sessions, match tickets for families and friends, and an invitation to the popular Ballkids party.
Each Ballkid must work at least three of the tournament's 17 sessions, including matches on Saturday, February 16 or Sunday, February 17.
Training dates are Wednesday, January 23 (5-7 p.m.), Wednesday, February 6 (5-7 p.m.), and Thursday, February 7 (5-7 p.m.). New applicants must attend all three training sessions.
