(PRESS RELEASE)_Jupiter, FL--Blackbird Modern Asian has come a long way since opening its doors on October 13, 2022. In nearly a year, the glamorous, award-winning fine dining enclave has garnered a faithful following of locals, celebrities, epicureans, and cocktail culturalists enamored by executive chef Tim Nickey’s elevated interpretation of classic Pan-Asian standards and a cocktail program worthy of its own Instagram account. In recognition of their brainchild’s first-ever anniversary, co-owners Scott Frielich, Cleve Mash, and Angelo Abbenante will host a celebratory evening for the public on Saturday, October 21 from 4 p.m. until 1 a.m. As guests enter, they will be greeted by geisha stilt walkers and ushered to their seats where they will be presented with gratis glasses of French bubbly for toasting. More geisha will perform interactive pyro theatrics throughout the evening and Joe Keit of Joe Keit Martial Arts and Tigers of Choy Lee Fut in Boynton Beach will lead two Chinese lion dances at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. West Palm Beach’s DJ James Simmons will spin everything from disco to EDM tracks from 8 p.m. to close. Upon departure, patrons will be gifted a decadent confection compliments of Blackbird’s executive pastry chef Denise Elrod.
