(PRESS RELEASE)_MIAMI (October 6, 2022) - Brightline, the only provider of modern, eco-friendly, intercity rail in America, is bringing back the Buzzer Beater for its fourth season. Starting this pre-season, Buzzer Beater will be better than ever with more train departures and an upgraded food and beverage menu including the debut of a its HEAT-themed cocktail the Double Dribble Margarita available onboard and at Mary Mary. The roundtrip service originating at West Palm Beach and ending at MiamiCentral Station – a 5-7-minute walk to the arena – is the smoothest and most seamless way to see the HEAT take on the NBA's biggest stars. Due to high demand, Brightline will be adding an additional train to its schedule for the 2022-23 basketball season to accommodate fans looking to swap game-day traffic for a car-free way to travel to the FTX Arena for every home game including pre-season games. Fans can purchase HEAT food and beverage specials in the station and on board including Brightline’s beer special and the new Double Dribble Margarita made with Grey Goose Watermelon & Basil, Cazadores Blanco Tequila, agave nectar and Aperol served in a travel cocktail pouch that can be taken and purchased onboard. On game days, fans can also purchase HEAT Cocktails, the Grey Goose Berry MVP, Wow Ice!, chicken wings, and chorizo empanadas at the MiamiCentral Mary Mary bar.
Returning as an official partner of the HEAT, Brightline’s Buzzer Beater trains are available for all of the regular-season games, including pre-season. Miami HEAT fans taking the Buzzer Beater to the game can also expect special fan giveaways in partnership with the HEAT and activities and events at all stations throughout the season. The train service provides fans three train arrivals within 30 min of game start time and departures scheduled 30 minutes after the final buzzer, allowing fans to catch every second of the action.
