(BRIGHTLINE NEWS)_WHAT: In honor of International Women's Month in March, Brightline will host a special series of Connecting Conversations, intimate panel-based discussions surfacing topics and themes important to the South Florida community, to celebrate women making history in South Florida. Kicking off on March 11 with additional events on March 24 and March 31, these panel discussions will feature key women leaders spanning technology, business and the arts throughout Miami, Broward and Palm Beach counties. Light breakfast will be served for morning events and hors d’oeuvres and cocktails served for the final evening event. All events are open to Brightline SELECT ticket holders with confirmed travel on panel dates and a limited number of tickets will also be available via Eventbrite links below. SCHEDULE + SPEAKERS: Women In Tech - Wednesday, March 11: 10:30 - 11:30 a.m., Brightline Fort Lauderdale Station Moderated by Brightline’s Chief Marketing Officer Carla D’Alessandro, women in insiders will discuss how they’ve navigated what was historically been a male dominated field and how they’re using their learnings to inspire the next generation of female STEM stars. Melissa Medina, President, Emerge Americas Rebecca Barkin, EVP Innovation, Magic Leap Karen O’Byrne, CFO, Modernizing Medicine Celebrating Women in Art with Mera Rubell - Tuesday, March 24: 10:30 - 11:30 a.m., Brightline West Palm Beach Station Mera Rubell of the Rubell Museum, one of the biggest private contemporary art collections in North America, discusses the role of women in the art world. She will share her secrets to success and how she built relationships with some of the notable artists of our time including Keith Haring. To round out the discussion, Mera will be joined by Elliot Bostwick Davis, Director and CEO of Norton Museum of Art, located in West Palm Beach. Miami’s Rubell Museum and West Palm’s Norton Museum of Art are located within close distances of Brightline stations in downtown Miami and West Palm Beach respectively.
