Cantina Laredo -- 'Tequila Paradise'

(PRESS RELEASE)_ Hallandale, FL – Oh, happy hour! Get busy celebrating Cinco de Mayo with a quick trip to tequila paradise at Cantina Laredo in Hallandale.

Agave lovers will have their hands full with the award-winning 3 G’s Please ($13), a spirited romp of top-shelf Sauza Tres Generaciones Plata tequila, lemon juice, simple syrup, orange bitters and fresh fruit, topped with a tequila-drenched strawberry boat float

Feeling extra adventurous? Try the Cabo Flip ($13), a “salud!” worthy concoction of Cabo Wabo Reposado tequila, Grand Marnier, and fresh lime, topped with a tequila lime boat float.   

Get busy living or get busy drinking a Sunshine Margarita ($12), brimming with 1800 Silver tequila, Grand Marnier, Monin agave nectar, and fresh fruit juices, topped with a Grand Marnier lemon boat float.

Beer lovers can hold onto a variety of extra-cold Mexican Cervezas ($5), like Dos Equis XX Ambar, Dos Equis XX Lager Especial, Dressed Tecate, and Dressed Tecate Light.  

3 G’s Please 
(Award-winning quaff by bartender Lucero Ortiz from Cantina Laredo in Addison, TX)

1½ oz. Sauza Tres Generaciones Plata tequila
2 strawberries
3 drops Fee Brothers orange bitters
1 oz. simple syrup
1½ oz. lemon juice

Muddle strawberries, tequila, and bitters in a mixing tin. Add simple syrup, and lemon juice. Shake with ice, strain into a cocktail glass. Top with a cored strawberry boat float filled with ½ oz. Tres Generaciones Plata tequila.
