In celebration of Fat Tuesday, Corvina will host a celebratory Mardi Gras Happy Hour, bringing a slice of the Crescent City straight to South Florida.
Revelers can enjoy a diverse mix of New Orleans themed culinary delights inspired by the famed dishes of the Big Easy. For only $9 each, indulge in Central Grocery-style Muffaletta Sliders inspired by the famed Italian sandwiches found in the French Quarter featuring stacked Mortadella, Genoa salami, ham, provolone and olive salad; Baked Oysters Rockefeller – originally invented at Antoine’s restaurant, the sumptuous dish features baked oysters, spinach, Parmesan and absinthe; and Natchitoches Meat Pies with black pepper corn ranch, the savory beef turnover created in the oldest settlement from the Louisiana Purchase. $8 Mardi Gras cocktails include the Gold Rush – a smoked libation featuring Bulleit Rye, muddled lemons and ginger-honey syrup; the classic French 75 – Tanqueray gin, fresh squeezed lemon, simple syrup and sparkling wine; and of course, the Hurricane – a boozy concoction featuring Bacardi White Rum, Bacardi Dark Rum, passionfruit, orange juice, lime and grenadine.
