Celebrate the Holidays in Riviera Beach

(PRESS RELEASE)_Get ready for the holidays in Riviera Beach. There are tons of fun for the entire family.
 
Discover the fun at the Riviera Beach’s fourth annual Winter Wonderland at the Marina on December 3 from 5pm-9pm, December 4, 11, and 18 from 6pm-8pm at the Riviera Beach Marina Village. This is a fun filled free holiday event for all ages with holiday lights, snow, free photos with Santa, train rides for kids, and live nightly entertainment. A 9-hole putt putt course and holiday ice skating rink are added to the fun for a $5 per person charge.

We are celebrating all the holidays in Riviera Beach and this event will encompass that. It has something for everyone from the Christmas Tree, to the Menorah, and to the Kinara. Riviera Beach wants to make sure all are welcome. Our live entertainment schedule consists of the below:
Friday, December 3 – Lighting of the Tree, DJ Torre Washington, Faith’s Place, and Motown Magic
Saturday, December 4 – DJ Torre Washington, Faith’s Place, and Singin’ with Susan (Musical Director Congregation B’nai Israel)

Saturday, December 11 – DJ Torre Washington, Faith’s Place and Paris Ballet & Dance (Performing the Nutcracker.

Grab your sneakers and join us for Santa Dash! A fun run/walk of 1.5 miles starting at the Singer Island Community Garden on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 7:30am-1pm. Wear your best holiday costume to participate in the holiday costume contest. The fun starts with Santa counting down the start of the run, Buddy the Elf cheering you on, pancake breakfast after the race, and a dance party in the garden. Your ticket includes participating in the race, t-shirt, participation medal, goodie bag, pancake breakfast, photos with Santa, kids game area, and more. It’s the most wonderful time of the year and Riviera Beach is hosting a “Light Up Riviera Beach” holiday decorating contest. The contest is for all residents, businesses, and boats in Riviera Beach. Sign up to participate at https://bit.ly/RBLight21 from November 15 through December 2, 2021. Let’s light up Riviera on December 3 at 6:30pm when the tree is lit at the Marina. Judging will take place December 4 through December 9, 2021 from 5pm-8pm. There will be one best of show winner with a prize of $200 gift certificate, seven showstopper winners with prizes of $100 gift certificates, and seven honorable mention winners with prizes of $50 gift certificates. Participants will be showcased including addresses and descriptions, so viewers can visit the homes, businesses, and boats. The winners will be announced on the City and CRA websites, TV18, and social media on December 10, 2021. They will also be acknowledged at a future City Council meeting. Prizes would be distributed the following week.

Bring the whole family to join in the lighting of the community Menorah at Chanukah at the Marina on Sunday, December 5, 2021 from 4:30pm-6:30pm at the Riviera Beach Marina Village. Rabbi Namdar from Chabad Singer Island will walk us through the traditional blessings, prayers, candle lighting, and music of the last night of Hanukkah. There will be arts and craft for kids, magic and fire eating performance by Remy Conner, and refreshments of kosher latkes and doughnuts.
