The restaurant is also featuring a breakfast sandwich with scrambled eggs made with ricotta and a Fontina cheese sauce, imported ham on a butter croissant. ($18.50) America's favorite brunch dish swings towards the Italian side as an Italian Eggs Benedict with two poached eggs on Elisabetta's house made sourdough bread, toasted and buttered, with an herb hollandaise, a small arugula salad and prosciutto di Parma ($17). Lunch features two new salads and a new pizza, the New Jersey Spinach Pie, topped with a mound of fresh curly spinach which cooks and chars in the wood burning pizza oven with a base of ricotta, fior di latte, spinach, seasoned with roasted garlic cloves, and sprinkled with pecorino ($19.50).
One salad, Sweet Gem with Steak, features 6 ounces of aged in house New York strip steak, sliced and accompanied by sweet gem greens with ruby red onion, heritage tomato wedges and a creamy gorgonzola dolce dressing ($28). The other veggie centric salad, Leafy Greens and Prosciutto, features four types of lettuces including kale, as well as fennel, artichokes and green beans, garlicky croutons and diced fresh mozzarella. A thin layer of prosciutto and shaved white mushrooms cover the salad ($20). In the evening, diners will find the beloved Sunday night special, Chicken Alla Parmigiana, available every night now. This 10 ounce Bell and Evans chicken breast is breaded and fried to golden with fresh fior di latte, San Marzano tomato sauce and basil, served with a side of spaghetti pomodoro ($29). Fall flavors continue with hand cut agnolotti filled with roasted butternut squash, served in a pan sauce with porcini mushrooms, guanciale, and black truffle.
