(PRESS RELEASE)_PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL – MARCH 4, 2020 - After the closing of a record-breaking season of ticket sales, the Donald M. Ephraim Palm Beach Jewish Film Festival has announced the Audience Award winners for the 30th Annual Festival. Attendees were asked to rate and survey films after watching. The Film Festival, which was hosted by the Mandel Jewish Community Center of the Palm Beaches, was held from January 26 to February 16, 2020 in theaters around Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter and Boynton Beach. This year, the film festival hit the big screens with 32 films and 7 short films and sold more than 8,000 tickets. South Florida film fans took over the cinemas to enjoy the lineup of films ranging from sports, politics and history to music, romance and religion – and the results of the winners are here! Because of this year’s success, the Mandel JCC will be screening some of the Audience Award winning films and other fan favorites during its Spring Film Festival, which takes place Sunday, March 22 to Thursday, April 2, 2020 at the Mandel JCC Palm Beach Gardens and Boynton Beach locations.
