(PRESS RELEASE)_Thursday, June 29, 2023 (West Palm Beach, Fla.) -Nonprofits First announces the return of the Lucky 7TH Annual Hats Off Nonprofit Awards will be in the Cohen Pavilion at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts on Tuesday, October 3 from 5:30 pm-7:30 pm. The Hats Off Nonprofit Awards celebrates and honors nonprofit organizations of the Palm Beach County nonprofit sector and the professionals and volunteers behind the hundreds of charities who contribute to making our community strong. “Nonprofits First is excited to host our 7th Annual Hats-Off Awards on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at the Kravis Center Cohen Pavilion, 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM. This is the one and only event to celebrate the extraordinary work of our local nonprofits and volunteers. We are hoping for a record number of nonprofit and volunteer nominations in one or more of our eleven categories. Please be sure to check out our new partnership award for Arts and Culture, sponsored by the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County”, said Jessica Cecere, Chief Executive Office of Nonprofits First. The call for nominations is now open through July 31 at 5 pm for each category and is online at www.hatsoffawards.org. Nominations will be accepted in 11 categories: Nonprofit of the Year (small, medium, and large); Nonprofit Volunteer of the Year; Nonprofit MVP, Nonprofit Professional of the Year; Nonprofit Executive of the Year; Lifetime Achievement Award; Community Collaborators Award, Innovation Award, and the new Arts & Culture Impact Award.
New this year is the Arts & Culture Impact Award, sponsored by the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County. The Cultural Council’s President and CEO Dave Lawrence explained that the award is meant to recognize arts and cultural organizations for their accomplishments and contributions to Palm Beach County. “The Cultural Council for Palm Beach County’s mission is to champion, engage, and grow the arts in Palm Beach County, and the Arts & Culture Impact Award will provide new opportunities for cultural organizations to be recognized among the nonprofit community,” Lawrence said. “Palm Beach County boasts an incredible array of arts and cultural organizations that serve as the heartbeat of our county. We’re honored to be a part of such a phenomenal event that recognizes and celebrates the very best of our nonprofit community.” The Hats Off Nonprofit Awards will take place in the Cohen Pavilion and will feature a premium open bar and heavy hors d'oeuvres catered by the Lessing’s Group. Tickets, Sponsorships, and tables are available. Early bird pricing of $150 per ticket available through September 1, 2023. HONA Tickets will be $175 on September 2, 2023, through October 3, 2023.Tickets for the Hats Off Nonprofit Awards are on sale now at www.hatsoffawards.org.
