(PRESS RELEASE)_West Palm Beach, FL – Put down those rose-tinted glasses, and go green at the new Herbalist Workshops with Juliane Miklos on the Loading Dock at Grandview Public Market. Once a month, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., celebrated herbalist and gardener, Juliane Miklos will share her time-honored wisdom of perennial plants, which can be used for culinary, cosmetic, and medicinal purposes. During each workshop, Juliane will lead an in-depth discussion on a notable flora, including ginger, moringa, turmeric, and lemongrass. Tea will be served, which incorporates a featured herb. The class promotes sustainability, so please bring your own mug. Herbalist Workshops: Saturday, January 12 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Ginger Workshop featuring Zingiber Officinale Saturday, February 16 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Moringa Workshop featuring Moringa Oleifera Saturday, March 9 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Turmeric Workshop featuring Turmeric (Curcuma Longa) Saturday, April 6 11 a.m.to 12 p.m. Lemongrass Workshop featuring Lemongrass (Cymbopogon) Workshops are donation based. Paper and writing utensils for note-taking will be provided. In the event of rain, workshops will take place in the Living Room.
