(PRESS RELEASE)_(West Palm Beach, Fla.) - The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts hosted a "Gratitude Evening” for members of the Dress Circle and Helen K. Persson Society on December 12 in the Dreyfoos Hall Lobby and backstage. Nearly 150 guests enjoyed a cocktail reception featuring passed hors d'oeuvres and culinary creations by Kravis Events by Lessing’s Hospitality along with an exclusive on-stage experience. Sherry Barrat, Kravis Center Board Chair welcomed guests saying, "Tonight's Gratitude Evening is a heartfelt celebration, honoring the invaluable contributions of our Dress Circle Members and esteemed Helen K. Persson Society. You all play an important role in the Kravis Center’s success.” Ms. Barrat then acknowledged Board members and Life Trustees in attendance. Diane Quinn, Kravis Center CEO, added, "Because of you, and your commitment, we will welcome over 70,000 students this season to live performing arts, and to expand our affordable community ticketing programming for those of limited means. The Kravis Center is a beacon, a catalyst in this region. For a community of this size, to have this facility and the programming that is offered is a gift. This gift is powered by each and every one of you. Why – because you understand the power of the performing arts… and for that I am truly grateful.”
Throughout the evening, attendees were guided on tours to explore backstage in Dreyfoos Hall. A stage lighting demonstration, a visit to the greenroom and star dressing rooms plus a dessert reception added to the festivities. Dress Circle members are donors who support the Center by contributing $1,000 or more annually. Membership benefits include priority seating based on membership level, special ticketing privileges, including ticket exchange, invitation to the annual Dress Circle recognition event, acknowledgment of support on the Dress Circle Wall of Honor and more. The Helen K. Persson Society recognizes members whose financial commitment to the Permanently Restricted Endowment Fund will keep the Center fiscally sound for generations to come.
