Beverage Director and Certified Sommelier Ervin Machado will be shaking up a Strawberry and Basil Martini ($12.50), a splendiferous concoction of fresh fruits, herbs, and chilled vodka. Strawberry and Basil Martini 3 freshly muddled strawberries 2 basil leaves 2 ounces of Tito’s Handmade Vodka Juice of one lime Juice of one lemon 1 basil leaf for garnish 1 ounce of simple syrup (water and sugar equal parts) In a cocktail shaker, muddle the strawberries with the basil leaves and simple syrup. Add ice and the remaining ingredients and shake well. Strain liquid into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a basil leaf.
