(PRESS RELEASE)_Delray Beach, FL – The Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens’ primary concern is the health and protection of our visitors, staff, and volunteers. We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and following the protocols and best practices outlined by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the Palm Beach County Department of Health.
During this time, the Morikami is open for daily visitation. However, to ensure a safe and healthy space for all to enjoy, we are suspending public programs and large gatherings (inclusive of our annual Hatsume Fair) scheduled from March 16 through April 30, 2020. Morikami will continue to reevaluate and reassess as information about the virus and its impact on public health is presented. The Morikami offers a unique source of beauty, contemplation, and well-being. We invite visitors to share this experience, particularly in these uncertain times. If you are not feeling well, or if you are uncomfortable in the current environment, we understand and look forward to seeing you soon at a later date. For the most up-to-date information regarding museum operations, please visit us online at morikami.org and follow us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens is located at 4000 Morikami Park Road, Delray Beach. For more information, visit morikami.org or call (561) 495-0233. Comments are closed.
