(PRESS RELEASE)_(West Palm Beach, FL – September 29, 2022) Following two days of closure due to Hurricane Ian, Mounts Botanical Garden will re-open tomorrow (Friday, September 30, from noon to 3 pm) following post-storm clean-up, according to Curator-Director Rochelle Wolberg.
The popular Palm & Cycad Sale, an annual event at Mounts hosted by the Palm Beach Palm & Cycad Society, will be open to the public from 9 am to 3 pm on Saturday, October 1. This is the perfect opportunity to talk to experts. choose from a wide variety of more than 500 plants available for purchase, and even buy a limited supply of top-rated fertilizer and palm and cycad reference books. Admission is FREE for members of Mounts Botanical Garden and the Palm Beach Palm & Cycad Society. For nonmembers, admission is $12 (adults), $10 (seniors 65+, college students and military with ID), $5 (ages 6-17), and free for children under 5. Tickets may be purchased at the gate, and it includes full Garden admission.
