When we heard there was a new Happy Hour in town, we put on our reporter hats, packed up the computer and headed out. As they say, it's a tough job, but someone has to do it. The objective was Prosecco Cafe at 4580 PGA Blvd. in Palm Beach Gardens. Opened in 2011, it is already well known for its European vibe and healthy menu options. Happy Hour is their latest addition. Tending bar was Adam, who got us off on the right start with his friendly and welcoming demeanor. As lovers of all things martini, we kicked it off with one of their specialties -- a berry martini, garnished with a strawberry. Verdict? Delicious! For food, you can choose from seven different selections, all $5 each. We started with the Mini Chicken Wurst with Mango Chutney. The chutney and wurst together made a great flavor combination. Two thumbs up. Next up, the Aranchini, a perfectly prepared rice ball served with pasta sauce. Yummy! But the real star of the menu is the Goat Cheese Croquette. Served with fig preserves, and toasted just right, it literally melts in your mouth. Fantastico! Prosecco Cafe Happy Hour is served daily from 3-6:30 pm. We'll be back for sure. Just look for two people sitting at the bar with hats they say "Press." Comments are closed.
