(PRESS RELEASE)_Coconut Creek, Fla. – Grammy Award-winning Rick Springfield will perform his greatest hits in The Pavilion at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek on Friday, January 18, at 8 p.m. Over the past four decades, Springfield has worn many hats as an entertainer and performer. He’s the creator of some of the finest power-pop of the ’80s and is a Grammy winning singer, songwriter and musician who has sold 25 million albums. Springfield has scored 17 U.S. Top 40 hits, including “Jessie’s Girl,” “Don’t Talk to Strangers,” “An Affair of the Heart,” “I've Done Everything for You,” “Love Somebody,” and “Human Touch.” He’s also an accomplished actor who has starred opposite actress Meryl Streep in the feature film Ricki and the Flash, gave a chameleonic performance as the creepy Dr. Pitlor in HBO’s prestige drama True Detective, earned great reviews for his portrayal of Lucifer this season on the CW hit, Supernatural, and most recently played Pastor Charles on American Horror Story. In 2014, Springfield was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. His latest album, “The Snake King,” finds Springfield exploring the bluesy side of rock ‘n roll, which marks a departure from the power pop that he has been known for. Tickets (priced at $40/$50/$65) are on sale now via Ticketmaster locations, online at Ticketmaster.com, or by calling (800) 653-8000. The Pavilion box office will also open at 1 p.m. on the day of the show for on-site ticket purchases and will call pickup.
