While the indoors at Florida Power and Light's Manatee Lagoon remain closed, its outdoor facilities are open, including  a new picnic area. After a stroll on their observation deck, where you may catch a glimpse of a manatee or turtle, it's a great option to relax under solar panels that offer both shade and energy at the same time.
