(Press Release) Boca Raton, FL, March 20, 2024– Polo Feeds held its third food packing initiative on Monday, March 4 at the Polo Club in Boca Raton. Over 250 Polo Club members and employees came together to assemble food supplies that will provide over 90,000 meals for local Palm Beach County residents suffering from food insecurity. The Community Relations Committee of The Polo Club raised nearly $30,000 through the generosity of residents to fund this initiative. Boca Helping Hands, Feeding South Florida and Jacobson Family Food Pantry were the beneficiaries of the event. “We are thrilled to once again be one of the recipients of this year’s Polo Club Feeds event,” said Bill Harper, Senior Director of Operations at Boca Helping Hands. “The generous donors who contributed and volunteers who gave their time help make it possible for Boca Helping Hands to provide nutritious meals to anyone who comes to us in need of them.” “The outpouring of support and enthusiasm by members, employees and management has been so overwhelming,” said Lauren Spitz, co-chair of the project. “To be able to help provide nourishing meals to our neighbors in need is so satisfying and rewarding for everyone. We not only raised the funds but look forward to standing together as a caring community to pack the meals.” Comments are closed.
