Channeling Executive Chef Tim Nickey’s passion for ingredient-forward Pan-Asian fare, the Jupiter hotspot will present two Valentine’s dining options: a four-course prix-fixe menu for $95 per person, complete with a complimentary glass of champagne and a three-course lineup of individually priced specials so couples can go all-in or mix and match their favorites. A separate holiday specials menu will be available exclusively at the upstairs and downstairs bars, where guests can choose from a curated selection of small plates, large plates, and desserts ranging from $6–$70. For those opting for the prix-fixe, the evening begins with a Lobster Dumpling served with a spicy togarashi miso butter sauce. From there, patrons can choose a second course from an array of small plates, including Lobster Bisque with tempura Maine lobster, Thai aromatics, red chili, and coconut milk; Shanghai Prawn with red tobiko and ginger curry sauce; Vegetable Spring Roll with orange-black bean dragon sauce; Steamed Spicy Pork Wontons with cilantro and Szechuan chili sauce; Tuna Poke Crispy Rice with scallion, wasabi tobiko; or a Market Salad with microgreens, lotus root, and orange-miso dressing. Course three spotlights Blackbird’s signature large plates, with choices ranging from Lobster Lo Mein, featuring Cantonese-style ginger scallion noodles, Maine lobster, and garlic sauce, to King Crab Fried Rice with five vegetables, Thai basil, egg, chili paste, and lime. Guests can also opt for Sake Marinated Drunken Chicken with Asian slaw, sweet crispy onions, and cucumber ponzu; Miso Black Cod with baby bok choy and sizzling vinaigrette; or upgrade to Wagyu Filet for an additional $25, served with matchstick potato, sesame, and sweet soy glaze. For an indulgent add-on, Japanese 7 Spice Lobster is also available at market price, featuring a 2.5 lb Maine lobster with yuzu butter sauce. Hopefully, you’ve saved room for dessert as the sweetest finale will steal the spotlight with two showstoppers conceived for the occasion by Executive Pastry Chef Denise Elrod, a two-time Food Network Guy’s Grocery Games champion.Lovebirds can choose between Chocolate Lava Cake with a brown butter dark chocolate ganache, Chinese five spice, roasted banana ice cream, white sesame caramel, and cashew caramel corn, or Graham Cracker Vanilla Cheesecake with raspberry agar sauce, cherry blossom whip, lychee champagne boba, and freeze-dried raspberries.
